“Oh Lucifer, Son of the Morning, how you have fallen from the heavens! You weakening the nations, you are cut down to the ground. For you have said in your heart, I will go up to the Heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of Elohim, and I will sit on the mountain of appointment, in the sides of the north. I will rise over the heights of the clouds; I will be compared to Elyone” Isaiah 14:12 Believers all agree that HaSatan, or Lucifer, as he is often called, is the enemy of HaShem. Yet few people pause to consider the implications of this fact. The book of Job tell us that HaSatan, which means Accuser in Hebrew, “roams to and fro” looking for souls to accuse and to deceive. He is thus given the fitting title of Deceiver, as well. As obvious as it seems, many believers never pause to consider precisely what he is trying to deceive them about? Satan has declared a rebellion against the authority of The Father, against His commandments, His Law, and His chosen people. He wants to deceive the entire world into joining him in this rebellion, not because he thinks he'll win, but because he doesn't want to go down alone.
